Domo is a concept café for Shopping Cidade Jardim in São Paulo, Brazil. The idea was to create an attractive and welcoming environment that would give the impression of an outdoor area. Inspired by the natural textures of Brazilian fauna and the sustainable initiatives of Precious Plastic (One Army), most of the materials used are naturally textured recycled thermoplastics.

Using simple and direct solutions, the final project has a reduced color palette and lots of texture. On the façade, sandblasted polycarbonate sheets give privacy to the mezzanine and hide the café's logo. Inside, a tensioned screen stretching across the ceiling diffuses the central lighting and creates a sense of natural light. This way, looking from the outside, you get the impression that the café has no roof.

Futhermore, the natural vegetation hides the service area and the benches (equipped with wireless charging) face the mall corridor, making the space inviting for communal use.
